Laura is a PhD student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program at Harvard Medical School. She holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Cancer, Stem Cells and Developmental Biology from Utrecht University in The Netherlands. Previously, she studied cancer immunotherapy in Dr. Jarno Drost’s lab at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology and genome editing in Prof. Jennifer Doudna’s lab at the University of California, Berkeley. She joined the Bernstein lab in October 2024 and is interested in studying cause and consequence of epigenetic plasticity on cellular evolution, states and function.
